Jesse Macht is a singe-songwriter based out of Los Angeles, CA. An artist in his own right, Macht also performs privately at social and corporate events with both his extensive songwriters catalogue as well as covers. You can find his covers arsenal at his site on The Bash. 

Macht's most recent project "WILD MERIDIAN" was released at the end of '22. The first single, "HOW I KNOW" is now available at soundcloud.com/wildmeridian. This new duo project with writing partner Hillary Reynolds is a very exciting new step for the seasoned songwriter. The project follows in the same haunting romantic heritage of a Nashvillian duo but harkens a more hopeful sonic reflection of a Civil Wars record that has yet to come, or a Gram and Emmylou record that never was recorded. The record is produced by Grammy nominated producer WYNNE (ODESZA, Yungblud, Lennon Stella, Goldlink, Jaden Smith, 88 Rising, Autograf, Minke, Two Door Cinema Club, Parson James...) and mixed and mastered by Andrew Masters (Blake Mills, Ozomatli, Sum 41, Cheap Trick, M83 etc) . 

Jesse Macht earned his chops as a co-songwriter with Sean Douglas
(Thomas Rhett, Selena Gomez, etc.) for the band Burn Down the Mission.
Since, Macht, AXS LA Songwriter ’14, has written solo artist records, and written with artists like The Midnight / The Spring Standards / Robopop as well as hit songwriters like Audra Mae, Matt Parad, The Score, Jeremy Silver, Stephen Gage, Adam Wood, and Dwane Shivers.

Macht's last solo effort,"I WAS BORN" is was released October 23, 2018, in all digital stores. The album was recorded at Lord Huron's "WHISPERING PINES" studios in Los Angeles. The release is mixed by Rick Parker (Lord Huron, BRMC etc) and co-produced by Macht and Justin Tocket (Anders Osbourne, Pet Fangs) with Rob Humphreys (Percussion), Tyler Carroll (Bass), Will Herrington (Keys), Ken Belcher (Lead Guitars). 

The songs all seamlessly wind into each other like the records Macht loved growing up. They traverse destructive anxieties and impassioned optimism. Each song, track by track, while running into each other, is a flip side perspective of the song that came before it, reflecting the two sides of every coin Macht continues to battle. 

"This was my most honest dive into what comes out of me when I'm trying to push away self-criticism and self-doubt, and allow flow and all I can muster in honest giving… and let that be enough. This experience of music creation and songwriting was the pinnacle of my own sense of music freedom with the resources of these generous players and musicians who helped me along the way. I wanted to finally release this record because it originally came from my heart unbounded, and I and it lost its way."
